Dallas is a VERY good communicator. His law enforcement background is very helpful while on the range. He’s extremely thorough and competent. I continue to schedule time with him even after completing my initial class.

If you are trusting Dallas to teach you firearm safety and use, then you are in great hands! He’s a professional in every way and gives great understandable instruction!

Today I took my daughter and wife to a firearms safety and training course. This was the first time my daughter had actually handled a handgun. My wife has had previous training, but she felt like she could benefit from a refresher course while our daughter was getting her first introduction to handling a firearm.

Dallas quickly put them both, as well as me, at ease. He went through the safety portion of the introduction with a demeanor that calmed their nerves but also made sure that they didn't miss a single detail of the importance of proper gun control and safety. I was very impressed that he didn't just rush through this portion, only speaking to range safety, but that he made sure they understood the importance about how these lessons of gun safety applied to our everyday lives as gun owners. This is something I have seen overlooked by other instructors.

When he was confident that they were fully educated on the safety portion of the instruction, he proceeded to coach them both through the shooting portion of the lesson. I can say that at this point of the session, (proudly for them, and sadly for me) that they had learned as much or more than I knew about firearm safety and shooting in my 20 plus years as a gun owner and hunter.

They both did a remarkable job during the shooting portion of the lesson and had groupings on the target that made me wish I had taken this lesson 20 years ago.

Dallas has an incredible record as a police officer, SWAT team member and marksman, but his ability to educate the general public may be his greatest and most underrated skill.

Dallas is a very good teacher and takes time to learn the needs of each individual. He caters to what people ask for and is very patient. Would recommend him for learning to shoot, or get the license and especially for women to learn to shoot in a safe environment.

The firearms class I took with Dallas was excellent! It was much more than just a safety course and we talked about different shooting situations, in the home and out in public, as well as how to avoid them. Dallas walked me through multiple shooting drills, shooting single handed, and with my non-dominant hand. He really covered so much more, and is a great communicator.
